[So, she hasn't really done one of these DEFEAT THE MIDBOSS quests. And of course, she's going to grab a power up before she goes. So excuse her humming when they first walk into the forest.
She was, as usual in these situations, in her uniform but she was walking with her feet on the ground for this quest. Hey, he was going to see her using her powers if it turns into a fight but that was a different matter altogether!]

[Shearing sheep was one of Mahmut's (many) special skills. After all, their people had been known as the conquerors who marched along their sheep once.
Though, admittedly, he usually had all the right tools. And the sheep weren't usually invisible.]
Hopefully, the sheep aren't mutants as well. I'm confident I can shear it without hurting it even in these circumstances if they're calm. But if they have extra limbs that I can't see it is another matter altogether.

[If Ling looks a touch more frazzled and exhausted than the last time they spoke, well—it's not actually all thanks to the punishment the town has dished out to him, ironically enough. He's dealing with it by not bringing it up, anyway, but every now and then he looks distracted, before perking back up and hustling to keep up with her.
