i: In the Well

[Luckily the well is a bigger on the inside than it looks because sitting perched on Mahmut's shoulder is a huge, golden eagle and it was stretching its wings with a surprised screech. Considering Iskender's wingspan is six feet long, it's likely someone just got a face full of feathers just now. But before it could bat you in the face again, Mahmut was placing a placating hand on Iskender to calm him. His smile is automatic, the same he offered politicians in foreign countries. There was nothing truly sincere about it, but it was enough to be polite.

He's also like, really short. No really, the eagle sitting on his shoulder is only a little less than half his height.]

I apologize.

ii: Town

[He's wondering despite the rain mostly because...he needed to figure out where he was. Iskender was absent from his shoulder, having been allowed to take off into the air and circle. His face was set in a determined expression even though he's shivering in his wet clothes. (But that wasn't even important. He had to figure out where he was and what was happening as soon as possible.) And when he spots someone he's stopping them.]

Can you tell me where we are?

iii: Inside the House

[He's eventually drawn to a house and it's...not to his taste. He was used to Turkish homes and their open design. But it was a roof over his head which was better than being out in the open.

Iskender was still perched on his shoulders as he checked out the rooms, making sure there was nothing and no one waiting to ambush him.

When he finally settled down it was to stare at this...thing. What was it?

He turned the laptop in his hand this way and that, looking extremely confused as he turned it this way and that.]

iv: Outside the House

[Anyone in Flavo today may be treated to the sight of Mahmut leading a horse, fully saddled and ready to be ridden being led out of his house where he'd found it.

He smiles, a little sheepishly.]

Excuse me. I don't suppose there are any stables around here?
