t's another day, another month, and another time for people to show up in the well. You'd better go rescue them! Never mind the fact that you woke up with a flower in your hands.
It's probably fine. Don't mind it at all. It's not like it's hard to ignore a little flower.
(At least, not until the effects start to kick in. Better go rescue the people in the well before they do.)
Oh, right. Even the people in the well have flowers, so... things are going to be a little ridiculous very quickly, when all of those side effects kick in. Have fun!

Within a second, she rounds on him, golden hair flaring out behind her. ]
Xie Lian.
Did you destroy the world?
[ She's just going to outright ask it. ]
no subject
[It's a surprising question, one that he certainly hadn't expected to hear...ever, really. And as such she gets kind of a confused blink.]
No, I...the world still exists. Kingdoms have fallen, but...but the world still exists.
no subject
And were you the one who felled those kingdoms?
no subject
[He wilts under that stare, the flower seeming to have killed any courage he had, his own gaze focusing downwards at his loosely clasped hands.]
.......I didn't....actively fell them. I failed to help one, and another.....I was too late to stop it.
no subject
And that's why you were kicked out of heaven?
no subject
[This is already a subject he doesn't generally like to talk about; his voice starts fading near the end of his sentence, somehow feeling both cowed and confused by her attitude. He was obviously wrong, he deserved the punishment he got, but there's only so much he's willing to say even at a time like this, gaze now thoroughly glued to the ground as he tries to think of a way out of the conversation.]
no subject
Let me get this straight.
You broke the rules and went on the earth even though you never actively destroyed a kingdom, when mortal kingdoms never last forever anyway... and your punishment is to be on the earth. Which, being on the earth is a reason for being kicked out on the first placed.
[ TAPPING FOOT.
Is she getting this right?! ]
I’m just going to say it: you didn’t do anything wrong. And if that’s what’s considered wrong, the you have my full support in being right. [ SHE IS PISSED ON HIS BEHALF. ]
no subject
[But she's...she's mad for him? That's what this is? The idea is surprising enough to lift his head again, looking up with...maybe not hope or belief, but something that isn't sadness. Wonder, maybe.
(He remembers saying something similar once, in his youth—about how he was more right than the gods.)]
Is, is that...really what you think? That I wasn't wrong?
1/4
Absolutely!
Argh— this is so.... I’m getting mad just thinking about it! [ Pacing. Pacing some more. ]
no subject
[ She stops pacing. ]
Okay.
[ Turning to him. ]
no subject
In fact, forget them! [ She waves her hand. ]
no subject
[ She places her hand firmly on his shoulder. ]
The time of your life is here, on earth, and do you know what that means? You got to live it up! Who still has alcohol here? You have to celebrate being away from those losers.
no subject
—Ah? Er, I don't-I don't really drink alcohol...maybe just a sip? A uh, celebratory...sip.
[At least he's stopped with the putting himself down?]
no subject
More like, a celebratory jug.
[ She’s already tugging at his arm to come along. ]
Let’s go, let’s go, let’s go, it’s five o’clock somewhere!
[ Also she’s curious if he can actually complain about the gods that kicked him out if he’s drunk enough. Because that would be swell. ]
