t's another day, another month, and another time for people to show up in the well. You'd better go rescue them! Never mind the fact that you woke up with a flower in your hands. It's probably fine. Don't mind it at all. It's not like it's hard to ignore a little flower. (At least, not until the effects start to kick in. Better go rescue the people in the well before they do.) Oh, right. Even the people in the well have flowers, so... things are going to be a little ridiculous very quickly, when all of those side effects kick in. Have fun! [ If she recalls correctly, she's already told all the cultivators she's met how she's honored and grateful to meet them... and if she hasn't, well. Maybe she should one day re-compliment all of them. ]

Anyway, ...welcome to Chroma. [ She folds her hands in her lap. ] You'll be able to meet a whole number of different people here, and they are all amazing in their own right, cultivator or not.

You might just be able to meet royalty, too. [ She adds with a playful wink. ...Because seriously, there are a good number of nobility here in Chroma. ]

Thank you. I look forward to meeting more people. It seems like there are a lot of people here who are neither cultivators nor from a world I know. There is so much to learn.

Really? I haven't met anyone of royal lineage before.

[Cultivators practically considered royalty and rich as kings? Yes, but not actual royalty]

Royals and knights and noblemen and lords.... [ She continues to speak, tone light and wistful, as if counting off something in her head. ] Very important men and women seem to gather into this place from other worlds. It's actually pretty amazing, and honestly I feel rather out of place among them. [ It is a truth that she is completely out of place here, but not for the lack of royal ties. ]

Oh, but my point of bringing them up is-- if you ever need help or direction, as there are some dangers here, you can always find more than capable people here.

I'm sure that you fit in just fine with them, Maiden Pyra. It's not everyone's lot in life to be at the top, as nice as people might dream it to be. But no one is less important than anyone else or less valuable.

I'm sure they are very capable. If I should meet any of them, I should like to learn from them.

You’re very... curious, aren’t you? What are you interested in learning? Something in particular from otherworlders or cultivators, or...?

It is one of the rules of our sect to always be willing to learn. We have specific practices we follow, but it wouldn't hurt to learn from other cultivators. Otherworlders... I feel there is a lot I am not going to know and I would like be familiar with it.

Of course I'd do the same if anyone wanted to learn from me.

[He is a junior though he expects more to want to learn from one of the seniors]

[ Than sciences. She doesn't blink at that, but it seems that whatever answer he has given her, it's something she expected. Pyra can't exactly help him learn more cultivation or magic, unfortunately, and she knows that he'll get along far better with the other cultivators. There's nothing she can offer him, in what he seems to want to learn. ]

Well. [ Pyra stands, brushing off her stockings as she does in a practiced motion. Seeing as he's fine despite whatever flower has enchanted him, she won't bother him further. ] There are... many talented people here who practice many different things-- not just cultivation, but other forms of magic and powers. You might be surprised at just how... incredible and powerful some of the people here are.

I hope you'll be able to meet them.

Well, for fighting, we use things like our spiritual energy, talismans, and spiritual weapons would be what I know of for fighting.

[He wouldn't call that magic, but others might. Science though was different in his time than what would be in their worlds. Technology as well]

Of course, not necessarily just about fighting or cultivation. Art, music, if people are able to help tell me about this place too.

She's felt it herself before as someone who can absorb energy; qi is soothing like a balm, invigorating like mint, and carries the distinct intelligence of life. Pyra smiles at him, sighing out at bit in relief. ] But I'm happy to hear that combat is not all they teach their students.

[ Thank goodness, she thinks. She'd hate the thought of sects recruiting children to their cause, no matter how noble.

Anyways.

Her own flower makes her just a little more impatient, unwilling to wait, but she does remain polite. ] Will you be staying here beneath this tree? Are you all right?

Yes, qi. That's what it is. Fighting is important, but in GusuLan, we also specialize in music so many seniors and juniors also play instruments.

I think for the moment, I will be staying here. I am fine thank you. It is rather nice here.
