"A man of many talents, then! I'm well glad to find myself in such company." He feels comfortable enough, if he doesn't look closely- but he can't help but appreciate Tristan's efforts.

He nods, moving to take a seat, considering. "All right. I've a particular fondness for poetry, and a bit of quick thinking and the right word in the right place," he offers. Perhaps incautious- but (apart from anything else), it seems unlikely to get him in trouble, or at least for the time being. "I've a decent ear for interesting facts- but I imagine you'd like to hear the poetry, yes?"

He clears his throat, thinking, and begins. "A vessel set to sea, a fortune gone to seek. Yet rolling seas did rise, and turn the ship's boards bleak. For Her embrace the crew did cry, for once again that starry sky, from which to claim from brilliant heights some olden tales and chance to tell these ne'er forgotten sights."
